Frustrated with the agonizingly pungent fragrances of common candles, we developed one made from 100% vegetable wax that comes in six natural fragrances a man won’t mind.
Izola candles are made in the USA from renewable resources. The wax is hand-poured into eight-ounce recycled, colored glass containers that have a rustic, weathered, and charming design quality. In keeping good faith with our old-world, utilitarian ethics, these candles are built to last and maintain their fragrance through 40 hours of burning time.
We think they are the perfect compliment to our cocktail shakers at a bar, to our toothbrush sets in a bathroom, and to our desk objects in an office. Join us in lighting one and let’s “rekindle an old flame.”

$20.00 USDThe letter opener is Izola’s first venture into the world of office wares. It is a bold object and a perfect addition to the desk landscape. Constructed from brass-plated alloy, and equipped with a hole to hang it by, the functionality of this piece extends beyond what the name suggests. Engraved on one side are centimeter metrics measuring up to 15 centimeters and the slogan, “Break the rules.” On the other side are inch metrics, measuring up to six inches and exclaiming, “Follow the rules.”
Historically, the letter opener is best known for its role in Patrick Henry’s iconic speech to the Virginia Convention in 1775. Prior to the United States’ independence Henry convinced the Virginia House of Burgesses to deliver troops to fight in the Revolutionary War by exclaiming, “Give me liberty, or give me death!” He then pretended to plunge a letter opener into his side for dramatic effect.
Well it worked. We won the Revolutionary War and are now the great country that we are. This just goes to prove that sometimes in life we must “BREAK THE RULES.”

Featuring a roll-top closure secured by a stout Horween leather strap and solid brass roller buckle, double-layer bottom, an interior stash pocket, and two exterior side pockets great for keys, mini U-lock, or anything else requiring quick access. Includes a semi-rigid, padded back panel and solid brass rings to adjust the shoulder straps, just like our classic Rucksack model. A Horween leather lash point on the front panel makes a great place to attach anything from a bike light to a sleeping pad.
The backpack is constructed from the highest quality materials: water-resistant 18 oz cotton duck, Horween leather, and thread are of US origin. Webbing and most of our solid brass hardware is sourced from the UK. Edges are bound in waxed cotton tape and all stress points are bar-tacked or riveted.

The duffel's bottom is covered in a waterproof, super tough nylon truck tarp to put you at ease even when setting your bag down on grimy subway platforms or dusty roads. The main compartment is accessed through a heavy-duty #10 brass zipper with bootlace zipper pulls, covered by a weather-resistant storm flap. A stout, leather-trimmed 2" wide shoulder strap is comfortable and easily removed (strap hangs 20 to 24" from shoulder), and handles in our British military webbing are securely bar-tacked in place.
The duffel is constructed from the highest quality materials: sturdy #8 cotton duck (18 oz), Horween leather, YKK zippers, and thread are of US origin.
